Senite Headlines Evanston Space

Chicago singer-rapper Senite ushered in 2025 with a nearly sold-out headlining performance at the legendary Evanston SPACE, a venue known for hosting some of the city’s most memorable live shows. Sharing the bill with openers Gayun Cannon and Whoisaubry, Senite captivated the room with an intimate, nearly hour-long set filled with unreleased songs. Each track highlighted her unique ability to weave poetic rap, soulful melodies, and raw storytelling into an experience that felt both deeply personal and universally relatable.

The evening was creatively curated by Senite and brought to life with the support of her regular bandmates Lonzo and Kyle Paul, and guest Jake Victor — acclaimed Chicago musicians who, alongside each other, also perform as part of the band MANSA. Together, they created a performance that elevated Senite’s artistry, allowing her to pour her heart out on stage and translate real-life experiences into moments of resonance and connection.

With this powerful show, Senite set the tone for her new year: fearless, vulnerable, and fully committed to building community through her music and performance.
